The light

Abdulaziz runs Fay, a Riyadh real estate business, as Chairman and Chief Executive. The route to it ran through both sides of the table: chairman of Fay United Real Estate from 2011 to 2022, and senior vice president roles at Riyad Bank across retail assets and retail business development, with earlier time at Jadwa Investment, Aditum and the Federation of Saudi Chambers. He completed Columbia Business School's real estate investing programme.

That combination is rarer here than it sounds. Most people in Riyadh property know either the asset or the financing. Knowing how a bank underwrites a residential portfolio and how the building actually performs are different literacies, and an owner or an arriving executive gets a straighter answer from someone holding both.
