The light

Senior people arriving in a new country tend to run on adrenaline for the first year and call it adjustment. Bassam coaches chief executives and senior executives through exactly that, with more than twenty years behind him across startups, family businesses and multinationals.

His own route was not a straight line. He studied mechanical engineering and Japanese in Japan, and worked across Japan, Australia and the Middle East. He was Managing Director of JCDecaux Saudi Arabia, a director at Saudi Exports and chief executive of ProsperUs. He holds an INSEAD executive MBA, completed the Misk 2030 Leaders Program, is a YPO member, and was President of the INSEAD National Alumni Association in Saudi Arabia from 2015 to 2021.

He is a Manara partner in wellbeing.
