CEO and Managing Partner, Joa Capital.
A founder raising in Saudi Arabia will be told the market is hard to read. Yousef has read it from the inside for fifteen years. He runs Joa Capital, a private markets firm, and is a Managing Partner at S3 Ventures. Before Joa he advised organisations on alternative investments at Marco Partners and was managing director at Riyad Taqnia Fund, the Kingdom's first institutionally-backed venture fund.
The route there was not the usual one. He was an international field engineer at Schlumberger across Oman, Egypt, Mexico and Abu Dhabi, then Booz Allen Hamilton, then Passport Capital in San Francisco, then Harvard Business School, where he started his MBA in September 2008 as the financial crisis hit. He sits on the board and executive committee at Saudi Post and Saudi Post Logistics, and spoke at LEAP in 2026.
